Writers – Turkey

Portraits of Turkish writers and poets. Shot on location in Istanbul and Berlin for Authors' Reading Month. Exhibited simultaneously in Brno (Czech Republic) and Wroclav (Poland) in 2018. – The empty chair stands for writers who have either been imprisoned or live in exile as a result of the politics and procedures espoused by president Erdoğan. The stories of these writers were featured alongside the photographs of those I did meet.
